Experience
Beatriz is a direct selling expert with over 25 years of proven leadership experience. She most recently held the position as a senior company officer, member of the management board and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Strategic Planning and Business Development for JAFRA Cosmetics International. Beatriz partnered with senior management to define integrated worldwide company strategic direction. She lived in Germany and served as interim President of European operations, covering Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland. She restructured the organization by consolidating the German, Austrian and Netherlands’ operations and commercial functions into a one-business model, eliminating losses in Austria and Netherlands and reduced expenses in Germany.
After returning to the U.S., Beatriz restructured and led a multi-national marketing team. She directed the development of all worldwide marketing, strategic planning and business development strategies. She redesigned JAFRA’s new worldwide brand and, in order to meet the needs of European, U.S., and Latin American consumers, directed the redesign of the entire product line (consisting of over 1,200 SKU’s), launched many line extensions in the skin, body, color and fragrance categories and directed the development and launch of the new Dynamics Skin Care Line.
Beatriz served as President of the Hispanic Division of United States Operations of JAFRA Cosmetics, including Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. She directed the development of company-wide sales management, marketing and field sales training strategies which resulted in growth in sales and double digit growth in net activity and distributor base – distributor base reached 50,000. She transformed an under-performing operation into a customer focused, motivated, high-performance organization and moved it from the third performing business to the second fastest growing business in the portfolio.

She has a extensive experience in general management with expertise in the Hispanic market and the direct selling industry; and strong experience in the areas of sales leadership, training, marketing, product and business development, and strategic planning.
Beatriz graduated Cum-Laude, with an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Redlands University in Redlands, California. She also attended a prestigious post-graduate program in Corporate Strategic Planning at Chicago University.
Beatriz has been publicly recognized for her achievements – her story was featured on “Vista LA”, Channel 7, and in the September 2003, issue of Vanidades Magazine. She was also named one of 2004 Hispanic Business Magazines’, 80 Elite Hispanic Women. She is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council at California State University Channel Islands and is a Supplier Member of the Direct Selling Association. Beatriz was honored by the City of Hope, and received the Women of Hope Award in 2001. An accomplished motivational speaker, she has been a keynote speaker at major conferences in the United States, Europe and Latin America. She lives in Simi Valley, California with her husband, Ferenc.
